TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A. EXPLANATION OF KEY WORDS
A.I. Take note of the following words in terms and conditions statement.
“SERVICE” means translation services performed by us for you
“ORIGINAL WORK” means the documents, files, materials and works provided by you for the purpose of carrying out the service.
“TERMS AND CONDITIONS” means standard rules, promises and regulations as set out below.
“TRANSLATED WORK” means the projects, files and materials produced from the original work in line with prescriptions given to us by you.
“YOU, YOUR“ means a body, firm or an entity to whom we are delivering the service or work to.
“WE, US, OUR,“ means AIF MEDIA | #Ìtumọ̀ whose subsidiary handles this translation with the trade name #Ìtumọ̀
"COPYRIGHT" means any database right, design right, trademark or name, brand name or private information and any other industrial or authorship rights.
B. GENERAL RULES
B.I. We are not responsible for any kind of quotation. Our agreement will solely based on written approval of your readiness to comply with this body of terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to all services provided to you unless otherwise agreed between the parties in writing.
C. PRICE AND PAYMENT
C.I. All payments are expected to be in naira except when otherwise stated.
D.II. No taxes, VAT or additional payment is expected of you to pay for delivery of the work except if you need our help for any other emergency service that would obviously require us to spend more to meet your need.
C.III. You are expected to pay at least 60% of your money before your work could be started. Failure to do so will lead to suspension of your work.
D. DELIVERY
D.I. Time will be of essence to the only agreed time of delivery by us
D.II. We will charge you extra money for any closer change in delivery time
D. III. We will not be responsible in any case whatsoever for the consequence of any delay in delivery or failure to deliver if the duration of the delay is not significant or if the delay or failure is due to an act divinely inevitable or exceptional weather conditions, industrial action, hostilities, governmental directive or any other cause beyond our control or of an unexpected impact.
E. OUR AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY
E.I. The services shall be carried out using profound skill and care in accordance with the excellence of the #ÌTUMỌ̀. We are not responsible for any external Internet interception in delivering of the original or translated data though the delivery will be private and somewhat encrypted.
E.II. You must notify us within seven days of delivery of the translated work of any claim arising from the translated work with enough information of the claim. We are not liable to you if you fail to inform us within this said time.
E.III. We will use reasonable terms to provide services to meet the specific requirements of the customer assuming that we are notified of any specific requirements and these requirements are necessary and agreed.
E.IV. We are not responsible for any kind of blasphemous, abusive or hate speech present in your original work.
E.V. You must ensure that all necessary safety and security precautions are in place at your premises before delivery.
E.VI. Neither party shall be liable to each other for any delay in, or failure of its obligations under the agreement arising from any cause beyond its reasonable control including act of God, government act, war, fire, explosion or civil disturbance
F. DATA CONFIDENTIALITY
F.I. Each us shall ensure that in working of our obligations under these terms and conditions, we will always adhere to relevant provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.
F.II. We acknowledge that if we are required to process any data in the course of providing the services, we shall do so only on your instructions.
G. TERMINATION
G.I. We shall be entitled to terminate the agreement immediately by written notice to us if it comes 48 hours after agreement with 30% payment.
G.II. Any work cancelation must be made 48 hours after agreement. If not any original work provided to us and translated work completed by us under the agreement shall be made available to you on termination of the contract and you will be responsible for 100% payment.
G. III. A person who is not party to this agreement shall have no right under the rights of third parties Act 1999 to participate in any term of this agreement. This does affect any right of any person that is available otherwise than pursuant to that Act.
